Returns, Refunds & Cancellation Policy

TATTOO SERVICES  
Tattoos are custom services, not products.  
Deposits: Non-refundable + non-transferable. This secures your time + covers design work.  
Cancellations: 48+ hrs notice = reschedule free. 24-48hrs = $50 fee. Under 24hrs/no-show = deposit forfeited.  
Refunds: No refunds once tattooing begins. Custom services are exempt under NZ Consumer Guarantees Act.  
Touch-ups: Small touch-ups within 6-8 weeks may be done free at Kate’s discretion. Does not cover poor aftercare.

ARTWORK + PRINTS  
This covers original paintings, drawings, prints, merch you sell in-studio or online.  
Original Artwork: All sales final. Originals are 1/1 and custom. Inspect before purchase.  
Prints/Merch: 14-day return/refund if unused, in original packaging + receipt. Customer pays return postage.  
Faulty/Damaged: Full refund or replacement under NZ Consumer Guarantees Act if item is faulty on arrival. Email photos within 48hrs.  
Custom/Commissioned Art: 50% non-refundable deposit required. No refunds once work has started, as per custom goods rules.

DIGITAL DOWNLOADS / FLASH SHEETS  
All digital sales are final. No refunds or exchanges once file is sent/downloaded.

OPENING SPECIALS  
July 2026 promo pricing is locked in with paid deposit + completed in July. No rain checks after July 31.

EXCHANGES  
Art prints/merch can be exchanged for same value within 14 days if unused. Tattoo sessions cannot be exchanged for cash.
