About me
Meet Kate Pachoud
Artist & Founder of Enhance Art Studio
Hi, I’m Kate Pachoud. I’m the founder of Enhance Art Studio Ltd, an independent creative business built around my love of ink, art, and individual expression.
I’ve now returned to the Bay of Plenty, where I was born, settling in Mount Maunganui and beginning an exciting new chapter in Tauranga.
Art, Ink & Individuality
I’ve always been an artist at heart. Creating is my mindfulness, my way of expressing myself, and a way to turn ideas, experiences, and emotions into something tangible.
My work brings together a love of tattooing and original artwork, from bold, timeless designs to delicate fine-line pieces. I believe art should have personality, whether it tells a story, captures a feeling, or simply speaks to you.
Every tattoo deserves care, thought, and attention to detail. I want to create work that feels personal to you, suits your individual style, and is something you’ll be proud to wear for years to come.
For me, tattooing is about more than the finished piece. It’s the time spent together, the conversations, the music, the laughter, and the experience of creating something meaningful.
My Approach
I believe in keeping things authentic. No two people are the same, and I love working with individual ideas to create designs that feel personal rather than ordinary.
Whether you come to me with a clear vision or just the beginning of an idea, I want the creative process to feel relaxed, collaborative, and enjoyable.
My goal is simple: thoughtful design, quality work, and art that means something.
A Lifetime of Learning
My journey has taken me through a range of studies and creative pursuits, each adding something to the person and artist I am today.
My qualifications include:
- New Zealand Diploma in Business
- Accounting Technician degree
- Certificate in Rural Staff Management
- Comprehensive Tattooing Certificate
- Certificate in the Principles of Māori Toi
- Certificate in Web Design
- Picture Framing Certificate, trained by Michael Masters
My studies in the Principles of Māori Toi have deepened my appreciation for the relationship between art, natural resources, meaning, and the responsibility that comes with creating. I value the thought and intention behind artwork and the stories it can carry.
I believe there is always more to learn, and I’m committed to continuing to develop my skills and grow as an artist.
A New Chapter in the Bay
Returning to the Bay of Plenty feels like an opportunity to reconnect with my roots, embrace change, and put more of myself into my creative work.
Enhance Art Studio is an extension of that journey. It’s where my passion for ink and art comes together, with a focus on individuality, creativity, and meaningful work.
Thank you for taking the time to get to know me and my work. Whether you’re considering your first tattoo, adding to your collection, or exploring an idea for an original piece of art, I look forward to being part of your creative journey.
